As early as 2015 (and most recently in our February 2018 issue ), all of us at Dance Spirit have been captivated by the growing trend of online dance training and class videos that go viral . But until now, we've yet to stumble across too much in the way of online class content from outside of the United States.

That's why we're so excited to have caught wind of dance2sense.com . The site was started in 2016 by a group of teachers and choreographers from Dance Centre MYWAY, a dance studio in Kiev, Ukraine that bills itself as one of the biggest dance centers in Europe.

It's tempting to think of Dance2Sense as a dance-specific YouTube, but the site actually offers much more than that. Join as an "amateur" (read: dance fan), professional dancer, teacher, studio, or crew, and view a wide range of super-polished HD videos in just about any contemporary style you can imagine—and filmed from multiple angles so you don't miss a single detail. Whether you're looking to watch (or upload your own!) step-by-step how-tos, jaw-dropping freestyle clips, fully staged numbers, or intense battles, Dance2Sense has your back.

And no, you don't need to speak Ukrainian or Russian to follow along with what's being taught! The site's text is all in English, and most videos I encountered had English instructions or relied on very clear visual demonstration.

Granted, online training can never replace in-person classes at your local studio or on tour with a convention. But how cool is it that—thanks to the Internet—you can now learn choreo from eastern Europe's most popular dancemakers without hopping on a plane?! What a wonderful world [wide web].
